Sessions will begin with various somatic and release technique approaches leading us to a luscious internal experience of our weight in motion while including an awareness of the total environment we share with others. Subsequently we will explore various contact skills such as rolling smoothly, falling safely, lifting easily, being upside down, as well as giving, supporting and transferring weight effortlessly. We will seek to integrate a heightened sense of space and a refined sense of touch as we are gently led into the art of instantaneous composition through the experimentation of duet, small group and large ensemble work.
Open to people of all ages with curious bodies and open minds!
